A workplace travel plan looks at how travel is generated by a work site(s). Based on evidence and through a series of measures, it plans to positively influence that travel.
A good Travel Plan can:

- Improve the efficiency of fleet operations and deliveries
- Reduce traffic congestion – thereby aiding the local economy
