About Cambridge Travel For WorkWhat is Travel for Work (TfW)TfW is a not-for-profit partnership. It is dedicated to working with employers to deliver and promote sustainable and healthy travel to work. The partnership is a nationally and internationally recognised scheme. UK Government sponsored research has shown that it delivers effective best practice in the workplace travel planning arena. Helping Business get there!TfW works with an expanding network of nearly 50 local employers who are at various stages of implementing workplace travel plans. The partnership is formed by key players in the employer and transport community. TfW aims to assist employers deliver quality workplace travel plans that are good for business, good for the employees and good for the environment. Practical solutions, aimed at resolving the real and perceived obstacles to sustainable commuting have been developed by TfW team (see TfW services). Why we are hereTfW exists to assist employers solve travel issues associated with their site(s). This is achieved through the production and implementation of site-specific travel plans. TfW provides free advice on how to increase the range of travel options available to employees for commuting to work and traveling on business. The TfW NetworkYou are not alone! The Travel for Work network provides support and guidance for all new travel planners. Whatever problem you come up against you can be sure another employer has been there before you. We hold at least three network meetings a year to share ideas.
